The LSG900 Stump Grinder is a 950hp tow behind unit. This machine has been purpose built for 2nd rotation site preparation in both the softwood (pines) and Blue Gum plantation industries. The LSG900 is the only machine that can grind out the stumps and mound in one operation, making a one pass finish.

We have the capability to incorporate fertilizer into the mounds or band it along the rows in one operation. This machine is able to simultaneously mulch and slash stump regrowth (including coppice), grind out all stumps and then incorporate this mulched material back into the rows. The mulch in the rows has a high value nutrient base for the new plantings, offering up to a 10% increase in plant vigour and growth rates. The Stump Grinder can operate up to speeds of 2-5km per hour while actually working and grind stumps up to 500mm in diameter.
